At Skin Virtue, hydration is skin deep. The nourishment of your skin is just as essential as hydration. Making sure your skin receives all the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals is an essential part of keeping your skin healthy. Our range of serums and mists make sure that your skincare includes these important nutrients so that your routine shows positive results.

Face Mists vs Serumist

A face mist and a serum aren't typically the same thing because most face mists serve the purpose of hydrating the surface of your skin. A face mist is a great product to use throughout the day to help keep your skin hydrated and free from dryness.

Here at Skin Virtue, we have a hidden weapon that combines the soft hydrating sensation of a face mist with the anti-aging, brightening, and plumping powers of a serum. It's a serum delivered as a mist for fast, easy application or a convenient way to top up dry skin during the day.

Glycine Soja Protein, Superoxide Dismutase Complex, Rose Water, Niacinamide, N-Acetyl Glucosamine, Methylsilanol Mennuronate, and Sodium Hyaluronate are just a few of the sixteen potent active ingredients found in our Future Advanced Serumist. It provides deep hydration and helps with firming and lifting, this product is ideal for all skin types and can be applied over makeup too.

Why should I use serums in my skincare routine?

Serums are like booster shots for your skin. They're a simple way to get more active ingredients into your skin. These lightweight ingredients will make sure your skin is never overloaded from heavy layers that come with other products. Water-based serums, like facial mists, typically have a higher concentration of humectants. This element moisturizes the skin by drawing additional water to it. Humectants, unlike emollients, nourish the skin beyond the top layer and hydrate at a deeper level. This level of moisture indicates that your skin cells are performing at their best. To get the best out of your serums, use a moisturizer on top that has both humectants, emollients and occlusives. These elements will make sure that moisture is trapped in and your skin is hydrated.

The building blocks of skincare are cleansers, toners, and moisturizers. A good and effective skin routine starts with these three products. These products are selected and applied on the basis of your skin type and needs, but to take your skincare routine to the next level, the precision and specialized activity of a serum is unsurpassed. Serums can deliver a high concentration of skin-quenching hyaluronic acid, skin-restoring niacinamide, or a megadose of vitamin C to brighten and level your skin tone.

Anti-Aging Serums

The trick to anti-aging serums is that you don't have to wait until you start to notice wrinkles to use one. One of the greatest ways to ensure that you age gracefully is to prevent it, and we recommend that anyone over twenty five include an anti-aging product in their daily routine. The appropriate serums are effective, and prevention is preferable to cure. The trick is to stick to your program and use a serum on a regular basis.

Day and night regimens

An important thing to remember and adopt in your skincare regimen is different products for day and night. It's crucial to understand that your skin has different needs during the day and at night. During the day, the skin is exposed to contaminants and UV radiation, both of which are damaging to the skin. This is why serums designed for use during the day often contain antioxidants to preserve and moisturize the skin, such as our Future Advanced Radiance Serum, which is developed with calming antioxidant characteristics thanks to Hydrolyzed Pearl and Botanical extracts.

Your skin does the majority of the heavy work of healing, renewing, and regeneration while you sleep. Most serums designed for nighttime contain light-sensitive ingredients like alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) and retinoids, which aren't suitable for daytime use. Our Pure Radiance Glow Serum hydrates and purifies the skin while also acting as an AHA exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and promote cell regeneration and hydration. Night-time serums or products with AHA exfoliants should be used not more than 2-3 times a week. On alternate evenings, feel free to use whatever serum best meets your skin's needs. Maintaining this balance will ensure that you do not over-exfoliate your skin.
